Cognadev UK (the Company), is a private company incorporated in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, with company registration number 05565662 and whose registered office is at 2 Jardine House, Harrovian Business Village, Bessborough Road, Harrow, Middlesex, HA1 3EX.

Cognadev (Pty) Ltd (the Company), is a private company incorporated in accordance with the laws of South Africa with company registration number 1994/009617/07 and whose registered office is at 18B Balmoral Ave, Hurlingham, Sandton, 2196.

Companies” and “Consultants” refers to a Company or Individual consultant that has access to Cognadev’s Assessments, Online Delivery Platform (Skylab), Offline Software as well as the public website.

2. Purpose

This Disclaimer sets out the basis on which any personal and confidential information will be dealt with. Companies and Consultants collecting personal information from candidates/applicants for their records need to ensure adequate protection of the information as it will be the responsibility of the Company or Consultant. This includes but is not limited to the collection of Curriculum Vitae’s (CV), academic qualifications, Identification documents, physical addresses, telephone and email addresses and more.

Cognadev collects data from consultants as well as from candidates themselves through our Online Delivery Platform (Skylab) and the Offline Software. Consultants and Companies collecting personal information for their own records and operations needs to ensure that the information is secured and protected in accordance with the Privacy Protection laws and regulations, including the PoPi Act and GDPR.

Cognadev does not take any responsibility for any personal data breaches arising from the Company or Consultant negligent processing of information. It is the Company or Consultants responsibility to safeguard all personal information and to process it in accordance with relevant laws and regulation.
